Premium mica hair dryer heating element combining excellent insulation and high-temperature resistance with NiCr or FeCrAl alloy resistance wire. Sandwich structure with upper/lower mica covers delivers fast, uniform heating for safe and efficient hair dryer operation. Withstands 600°C, insulation resistance >100 MΩ, heating efficiency ~90%. Customizable shapes and power up to 1000W.
A mica hair dryer heating element (also called "mica heating head") is a heating component that leverages mica's excellent insulation and high-temperature properties, combined with alloy resistance wire, to quickly and uniformly generate heat. It ensures hair dryers heat efficiently while maintaining user safety.
Structure: We use white or phlogopite mica board as the insulation carrier material. High-quality alloy resistance wires — FeCrAl (0Cr25Al5) or NiCr (Cr20Ni80) — are wound onto the mica board to form the heating core. The core is then sandwiched between two mica sheets (upper and lower), forming a sandwich-like heating element. Some models include galvanized or stainless steel plates for additional support and protection.
Working Principle: When current flows through the resistance wire wound on the mica board, electrical energy converts to thermal energy. Mica's high thermal conductivity evenly distributes and conducts the heat. Combined with the fan inside the hair dryer, the heat is carried out by airflow, producing the hot air that achieves the hair dryer's heating function.
Every heating head is assembled to rigorous quality standards, with in-house testing of insulation resistance, power output, and thermal cycling before delivery.
Mica board withstands up to 600°C, remaining stable under the high-temperature environment of running hair dryers. Resistant to deformation or damage, ensuring long-term reliable operation.
Insulation resistance exceeds 100 MΩ, effectively preventing electric shock and safety accidents. Maintains strong insulation even after prolonged use or under high-temperature conditions.
Surface heating element with large heat-conductive air contact area, delivering ~90% thermal efficiency. Quickly converts electrical energy to heat — hair dryers produce hot air faster, reducing user wait time.
The mica heating element is safely enclosed in an insulation layer, resistant to various chemical gases and solutions. This extends the heating head's service life, even in complex environments.
High bending strength and hardness withstands damage from external forces during production, transportation, and use — while maintaining structural integrity and performance.
Contains no toxic or harmful components, releases no toxic gases under high temperature. Meets environmental standards and causes no harm to human body or environment — safe for personal appliance use.
Customize shape to fit your hair dryer housing, and power rating to match your product specifications. Both natural muscovite and phlogopite mica grades available.
Designed in multiple shapes to meet different hair dryer models' internal space and performance requirements. Plate style for compact handheld dryers, cylinder style for professional salon models, sheet style for wall-mounted hot air devices.
Capable of high-power designs up to 1000W — providing suitable heating power for various product needs, and adapting to different hair dryer power standards (110V, 220V, and dual-voltage models). Matched precisely to your rated power and voltage.
From household hair dryers and professional salon equipment to industrial hot air devices — mica heating heads deliver fast, safe, and efficient heating for every air-flow appliance.
Core heating component in consumer hair dryers — delivers 90% thermal efficiency for quick drying at 300-1500W power ratings. Sandwich structure with mica insulation ensures user safety even under prolonged operation.
High-power heating heads (800-1000W+) for salon-grade hair dryers requiring continuous heavy-duty operation. Cylindrical mica heater design optimizes airflow and heat distribution for rapid drying without overheating.
Heating cores for industrial and DIY hot air guns (shrink tubing, paint removal, plastic welding). Mica's 600°C rating handles the higher temperature demands of industrial hot air applications safely and reliably.
Mica heating heads in PTC ceramic-alternative room heaters and space heaters. Larger surface area and uniform heat distribution deliver quiet, efficient heating in office and residential applications.
