All three products are flexible and cuttable — the naming reflects format and thickness range. Our Phlogopite Flexible Mica Plate (0.15-2.0 mm) is sold in plate form and ships as die-cut shapes or stacked sheets for EV battery module integration. Our Ceramic Fiber Mica Roll and Phlogopite Mica Roll ship as continuous rolls for on-site cutting to length — ideal for industrial insulation where installation lengths vary.
Our Phlogopite Flexible Mica Plate carries the UL94 V-0 flame retardancy rating — the highest UL94 classification for self-extinguishing behavior. It's specifically engineered for EV battery pack thermal runaway protection, with 750°C continuous / 1000°C transient temperature rating, ≥20 kV/mm dielectric strength, and exceptional room-temperature bendability for wrapping cylindrical cells.
Yes. We offer CAD-based precision die-cutting for the Flexible Mica Plate specifically — you send us your module drawings, we supply ready-to-install parts. Common shapes include cylindrical cell wraps (18650/21700/4680), prismatic module liners, side-plate insulators, and inter-cell thermal barriers. Minimum order 500 kg for custom shapes, lead time 15-20 days.
Ceramic fiber alone has excellent thermal resistance but limited dielectric strength. Phlogopite mica alone has superior insulation but lower continuous temperature rating. Our composite combines both — delivering 1200°C peak temperature AND 20-50 kV/mm dielectric strength in a single lightweight roll (0.3-0.6 g/cm³). Result: an integrated "thermal + electrical" insulation solution that extends service life 30%+ over single-material alternatives.
For standard stock items: MOQ ~500 kg, lead time 3-7 days. For custom specifications (width, thickness, die-cut shapes): MOQ 500 kg-1 ton depending on grade, lead time 15-25 days. Rush production available with small surcharge. For ongoing EV OEM and industrial customers, we offer VMI (vendor-managed inventory) to ensure uninterrupted supply.
