What Are Machined Mica Parts?

Machined mica parts are custom-engineered insulation components produced by cutting, drilling, stamping, grinding, and shaping mica-based materials (muscovite, phlogopite, or synthetic mica) into precise geometries for specific industrial applications. They combine the inherent properties of mica — exceptional dielectric strength, flame retardancy, and continuous high-temperature stability — with the dimensional precision of CNC manufacturing.

At SZX New Materials, we machine mica parts using high-precision CNC turning centers, laser engraving machines, 3D forming equipment, and fully automatic stamping lines. Our standard tolerance is ±0.1mm, with precision-grade ±0.02mm available for critical applications. Surface finish options include smooth (Ra ≤0.8μm) and textured for enhanced bonding.

Every batch is tested in-house for dielectric strength, dimensional accuracy, and surface quality.
