Factory-direct mica paper engineered for high-voltage cables, transformers, capacitors, motors and heating elements. Produced from premium natural and synthetic mica on 4 dedicated production lines with 4,000+ tons annual capacity. Available in every grade, grammage and width you need — exported to 30+ countries.
Mica paper is a thin, flexible electrical insulation material produced by pulping, forming and drying fine mica flakes into uniform continuous sheets. It combines the exceptional dielectric strength and heat resistance of mineral mica with the convenience and processability of paper — making it the backbone of modern high-voltage and high-temperature insulation systems.
At SZX New Materials, we manufacture mica paper on four dedicated production lines with over 4,000 tons of annual capacity. Our paper is available in natural phlogopite, natural muscovite, calcined, and synthetic fluorophlogopite grades — each engineered for a specific combination of temperature rating, dielectric strength, and mechanical performance.
Every roll is tested in-house for dielectric strength, tensile strength, mass loss, and air permeability before packing. We supply customers in the cable, transformer, motor, capacitor, EV battery, appliance and industrial heating industries across more than 30 countries.
Take a look inside our mica paper facility in Shenzhen — rolls of premium mica paper stacked on pallets, ready for shipment to customers across 30+ countries. This is where precision manufacturing meets export-grade packaging.
Parallel production capacity handles both standard grammages and custom orders without bottlenecks.
Every pallet is shrink-wrapped, corner-protected and labelled per the destination country's requirements.
Shipped via sea freight, air cargo and express courier — full export documentation handled by our team.
Every property below is backed by in-house QC testing on every batch — not marketing claims.
Phlogopite grade withstands 1000 °C continuous operation. Muscovite grade rated to 500 °C. No organic decomposition at rated temperature.
Guaranteed minimum of 14 kV/mm; actual values typically 25–40 kV/mm. Meets or exceeds IEC 60371 and IEC 60626 requirements.
Non-combustible per IEC 60331 when used in cable construction. Retains circuit integrity under direct flame exposure up to 950 °C.
Can be slit, die-cut, wound, layered and laminated on standard converting equipment. Compatible with silicone, epoxy and polyimide binders.
Each grade is engineered for a specific temperature range, purity level, and end-use. Click through to full specifications.
